Xavier has won 7 in a row and, while projected to finish in the bottom half of the Big East by the "experts", the Muskies are tied for first in the league with an early 2-0 record. They go for Big East win #3 tonight as Marquette comes to town; game is on Fox Sports 1 so don't miss it.
X is 11-0 at Cintas this year while Marquette is a disapointing 1-3 on the road thus far. Don't let that make you think that the Golden Eagles are a push-over. They were one of the favorites to win the Big East and have underacheived so far but are very talented and certainly capable of winning big games. Vegas currently has XU as a 4 point favorite.
Let's go Muskies!!!

Fresh off a New Year's Eve win against St. John's, Xavier hosts Butler for it's 2nd conference game. Butler comes in at 10-3 and with some close losses to some very good teams (Villanova & Oklahoma State). Xavier, now 11-3, carries a 6 game win streak into the game.
This rivalry game promises to be a good one, as usual. Both teams are playing stout defense, giving up just over 63 points a game. Both teams are led in scoring by Sophomores with Semaj Christon averaging 14.4 pts/gm and Kellen Dunham averaging 18.4 pts/gm.
Get loud Xavier fans! GO MUSKIES!!!

Exams are over and Christmas is almost here. The Muskies play their first true road game at Alabama tonight before taking a holiday break.
Bama is a 5 point favorite so it will be a tough game for X.
Let's go Muskies!!! Let's roll the Tide!

For the 81st time, Xavier and UC play tonight. It's the Crosstown Shootout, don't call it anything else! And hopefully for the LAST time, it's at US Bank Arena downtown. BRING IT BACK TO CAMPUS!!!
UC (7-1) lost their first game of the year last week at The Pitt in New Mexico. The Muskies, after a bad tourney in the Bahamas, have won their last 2 to get to 7-3.
The Bearcats come in as a 5 point favorite, with Sean Kilpatrick leading the team with 19.6 ppg. Semaj Christon was out of most of the game last year with cramps and the depleted Muskies struggled all night. Let's hope they make up for that this year!
LET'S GO MUSKIES!!!
