After 2 years of idiocy, i.e. playing a game re-named the "Crosstown Classic" at an old dumpster arena downtown, the SHOOTOUT is back to where it should be...the college campuses. This year, it's at UC, and right in the middle of a war of a Big East season for the Muskies. Gotta focus on this non-conference road game and take care of business before we get back to our brutal final stretch of Big East games.
UC is listed as a 1 point favorite at home. Both teams are coming off of disappointing home losses over the weekend and sitting on the bubble for the Big Dance in March. Xavier's play is all over the board so I would not be shocked by a 20 point win or a 20 point loss. Conservatively, I should say I'll split the difference and say the Muskies pull out a close one. But, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that our Seniors play like big-time Seniors and some of the young guys step up to earn XU a 10 point win on the road.
